The Greater St. Louis Society of Radiologists (GSLSR) in the past served the needs of the St. Louis metropolitan area radiologists, radiation oncologists, nuclear medicine physicians, and medical physicists by offering lecture program events and a means of social networking. As of July, 2015, it has closed as an independent entity and has merged into the Missouri Radiological Society. The Carman Lecture is the historic distinguished lecture which the GSLSR first held in 1941. This lecture is to continue on a biannual basis in St. Louis as part of the Morads spring meeting.
