FALL MEETING TO BE HELD VIRTUALLY OCTOBER 23, 2021
From our president:
Due to increased COVID cases, the Fall meeting of the Missouri Radiological Society Saturday, October 23 will be virtual only. More details and the Zoom link will be given in an upcoming email.
It will be a regular meeting, and will include a financial report by Moneta, the legislative update by Harvey Tettlebaum, and a talk by Dr. Jim Junker, FACR, former President of MORADS and former CMO of Mercy Jefferson, on why radiologists should be administrators and what administration expects from radiologists.
We do anticipate a live meeting in St. Louis on April 9, 2022 which will include the Carman Lecture. The Carman Lecturer this year will be Dr. Howard Fleishon, FACR, Chair of the ACR Board of Chancellors. Dr. Fleishon will also be attending our Fall meeting.
I would also like to remind you of the RLI Summit Sept. 10-11, for which MORADS is supporting multiple residents to attend. There is also a free pre-summit meeting for Residents and Young Physicians on Sept. 9.
Thank you and I look forward to seeing you (virtually) Oct. 23!
Michael Raney, M.D.
President, Missouri Radiological Society
