Spring 2016 Meeting

In case you missed it, here is a brief snapshot of a few highlights of our past March 19th spring meeting in pictures:

Dr. James Thrall (pictured in the center), Chairman Emeritus of the Massachusetts General Hospital Department of Radiology delivered the 72nd Carman Lecture titled “Reinventing Radiology in the Digital Age.”  Rishi Mpapsekar, MD (pictured on the left) was sponsored by Morads to attend the 2015 Radiology Leadership Institute in Boston.  He was a fourth year resident at Mallinckrodt at the time of the spring meeting where he also delivered a lecture detailing his experience.  Keith Fischer, M.D. (pictured on the right) is the chairperson of Morads’ Resident Physician Committee.

MSMA outgoing President John O. Stanley, MD stopped by to briefly update us of the efforts of the MSMA and to discuss the importance of membership in our state medical society.

Carol Hamilton, MBA is the first president of the newly-formed Missouri state chapter of the Radiology Business Managers Association (RBMA).  She presented on the role of the RBMA in the practice of radiology and the opportunities available for collaborative efforts with Morads.
